The XO Ranch operates with a high priority of helping people realize the importance of pediatric cancer research. Parks and Recreation in Aubrey


Having been named one of the healthiest neighborhoods in the Dallas area, it is no wonder that there are great park and recreational facilities located in Aubrey. There are several community parks, such as Matthew’s Park (202 Plum Street)  and Leslie Park (249 Glenview Drive), that offer great amenities for residents to enjoy. Located just outside of Aubrey, Ray Roberts Lake State Park (100 PW 4137, Pilot Point) is the perfect spot for anyone that likes to spend time in the great outdoors. The 20 mile Greenbelt Corridor provides great opportunities for hiking, biking, and horseback riding and runs from Ray Roberts Dam to Lake Lewisville. Throughout the park, there are areas where you can explore nature and camp. Ray Roberts Lake covers 29,000 acres and is great for boating, fishing, and swimming.



School District in Aubrey, Texas

The community of Aubrey is served by the Aubrey Independent School District. This  public school district is ranked 56th of 932 Texas districts.  In addition to Aubrey, the district also serves the city of Krugerville and a portion of Cross Roads.  The district operates 5 schools. Children in pre-kindergarten can attend Early Bird Learning Center (415 Tisdell Lane), and those in kindergarten through 4th grade attend either Brockett Elementary School (900 Chestnut Street) or Monaco Elementary School (9350 Cape Cod Boulevard). Aubrey Middle School (815 West Sherman Drive) educates students in grades 5 through 8. Students in 9th through 12th attend Aubrey High School (510 Spring Hill Road).  



Health and Transportation in Aubrey, Texas

There are many excellent medical facilities located right within Aubrey and the surrounding communities for the convenience of residents. Baylor Emergency Medical Center (26791 Highway 380) provides emergency care and laboratory testing in Aubrey. Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton (3000 I-35) serves the community of Aubrey by providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services as well as all emergency medical needs.


US Route 377 runs directly through Aubrey and connects the city to the rest of the North Texas region. For anyone wanting to travel beyond the great state of Texas, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport  (2400 Aviation Drive) is located 38 miles away.
